INTRODUCTION

MEGHAN S. ESLICK f/k/a Meghan S. Hanson is an associate with the law and mediation firm of Kimberly Stamatelos & Associates, where she maintains a general practice including, but not limited to, family law and estate planning. Meghan received her B.S. in Economics and Business from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2003 and her J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2006. Meghan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa Bar Association, and the Polk County Bar Association. Meghan was admitted to practice law by the Iowa Bar Association in 2006.

Meghan was born in Park Ridge, Illinois but grew up in Plano, Texas. It wasn’t until Meghan was in college at Texas A&M University that she decided she wanted to be an attorney. Meghan knew when she decided she wanted to practice law that family law and estate planning were the areas she wanted to practice in. In law school, Meghan was regularly on the Dean’s List each semester. She participated in Drake Law Women, the Joan and Lyle Middleton Center for Children’s Rights Clinic and was an Associate Editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law.

Meghan finds the practice of law very rewarding. Before working at Kimberly Stamatelos & Associates, Meghan was an associate attorney with Sporer & Ilic, P.C. also known as Sporer & Flanagan, P.C. While at Sporer & Flanagan, P.C., Meghan practiced in family law as well as general civil litigation, criminal law and appellate work. When Meghan finds some spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their new puppy. Meghan loves sports and the outdoors as well as reading. She also loves finding time to return home to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and visit with family and friends. One of her favorite things to do in Texas is attend a Dallas Maverick’s basketball game. She often calls herself the only NBA fan in Iowa.

Meghan and her husband live in Norwalk where they enjoy spending time with their puppy, meeting their new neighbors and discovering all the wonderful things Norwalk has to offer.
